NFIA Disappointed at US Decision to Revoke VISA

For Chief Minister Narendra MODI

The National Federation of Indian American Associations (NFIA), an umbrella organization of over 200 associations of Americans who trace their roots to India is deeply disappointed at the decision of the United States to revoke visa of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who was scheduled to speak at the upcoming convention of Asian Americans Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) in Florida.

The denial of visa will prevent the Chief Minister from attending a number of functions planned by the Indo-American community in the United States.

The NFIA urges the State Department to reconsider its decision and issue a visa to the duly elected head of a State in India.
